Walfred Thulin (1878 - 1949)

Swedish-born Walfred Thulin, an early member of Boston’s Carrig-Rohane workshop, was renowned for his carving and joinery skills.  In addition to frames, which he designed, signed, and numbered, his work includes trays, candlesticks, furniture, and an alter cross at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
